The Florence Township Brush & Compost Site is seasonally open to residents on a limited basis between May and November for disposal of yard waste. The site is located at the corner of Van Blarcum Ave and Green St in Old Frontenac. 

Materials allowed are grass clippings, garden waste, leaf litter, brush and small branches (up to 3 inches in diameter). No building materials or large branches or trees. 

This is available to TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY! No commercial use.

Volunteers will monitor the site during its open hours which is generally 9 a.m. to Noon on Saturdays during the season.

This service is available only because volunteers have stepped up to guarantee there will be someone at the site while it’s open.
